With Tanya Syed. KFRP. MA.
Tanya works with energy healing, flower essences, healing sound, nutrition, gentle massage of neurovascular and neuro-lymphatic points, visualisations, positive affirmations, emotional stress release, simple movement.
Muscle testing is used as a way of coming into dialogue with your system. A light pressure is applied to a muscle for example an outstretched arm. The response, of resistance or release, communicates to the practitioner what imbalances are present and what balancing techniques are appropriate.
We can tune into different layers of the system be it cellular, structural, mental, emotional or subtle energy fields. Revealing for example nutritional imbalances, toxic build up, biochemical activity, negative thought patterns, sensitivities to environmental forces.
The body contains information, a memory of your life and those around you. We can tap into this source in order to understand your patterns, any negative associations, and the illnesses or imbalances that have occurred as a result of unexpressed emotion , trauma or life transitions.
Kinesiology can be used alongside counselling or therapy, and as a support through major or minor life changes or illness. If appropriate you may be asked to take remedies over a period of time, be given simple exercises or be recommended dietary or lifestyle adjustments.

A two-week intensive addressed to practitioners of any style of Yoga who wish to deepen their understanding of the transformational power of Yoga and how this transformation can be implemented through an intelligent and integrated practice.
This year we return to Auroville with a sharp awareness of our experience in 2004/05 when we were engulfed in the profoundly destabilising experience of the Tsunami. Our practice offered a solid anchoring and each was able to respond according to their nature and consciousness.
It is in everyday living that we can assess where we really are, in our responses to life’s challenging situations, in the quality of our relationships and the consistency of our actions.
Auroville offers a perfect set up for conducting a thorough self-exploration. This is an experimental town where each individual has made a choice to embody Yoga consciousness. Many attempt to live a clear and clean life, some live an impeccable life, a few dwell in the consciousness of the Seers. Yet none comes forward with a manufactured, easy answer. It is up to each individual to find their way, their direct connection with the forces that shape a human life and destiny.
In this context and particularly conducive environment we will return to weave a practice in resonance with our personal needs and deeper aspirations.
This year my intention is to deepen our investigation of the nature of Prana and refine our perception of subtle energy fields, using the full spectrum of Yogic practices.
